WHO DO YOU TREAT?
I have experienced working with all abilities and ages of people, including professional athlete's, recreational sportspeople and the general public. Everyone is provided with the same detailed assessment and consultation ensuring the best possible treatment program is provided to help you recover optimally.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM MY FIRST SESSION?
Appointments will start with a discussion about the reason for visit and details of any injury, issues or pain. After this a postural assessment, range of movement and muscle testing will be undertaken. This allows for a better understanding of the cause of your issue to ensure an appropriate treatment with a range of techniques follows. Obviously before starting any treatment I will ensure you are happy and understand what I suggest to occur.
How many appointments will I need?
As part of a regular preventative/maintenance plan, treatment every 4-6 weeks is recommended. If you have an injury, the number of sessions needed will be variable and any on-going treatment will be recommended by your therapist. In some cases, one session with the right exercise prescription can be enough, but it's very much dependent upon a multitude of factors.
